Singer/songwriter Anthony Bautovich (The Orange Humble Band, The Lonelyhearts) has recently recorded 14 new songs for his second album with power pop/alt country combo, The Forresters. Produced by Aria Award winning engineer and producer Wayne Connolly (You Am I, Boy & Bear) and recorded at the iconic Albert studios, these new tracks feature performances by a stellar line-up of Australian musicians including Nick Kennedy (Knievel, Imperial Broads) on drums, Steve Balbi (Noiseworks) bass, Matt Galvin (Perry Keyes, Joey's Coop) guitars, Cameron Bruce (Paul Kelly) keyboards, Jess Ciampa (Bernie Hayes) percussion, Charlie Owen (The Beasts of Bourbon, Dark Horses) dobro and guitar, Jason Walker (Jason Walker and The Last Drinks) on pedal steel, Peter Kelly (The Gadflys) on trumpet, Ross Middleton (Percy Sledge) on saxophone, Amanda Brown (The Go-Betweens) on violin, Brielle Davis (Not Good With Horses) on vocals and Nashville based singer Emma Swift on vocals.
The 4 track EP will be released in June. The album is currently being mixed by Mitch Easter in the US and will be released in March/April 2018. Anthony, who is a director of Home@735 Art Gallery in Redfern, has commissioned 4 Sydney artists to create a clip for each of the tracks on the EP. The videos can be viewed on the video page.
